Changelings are a race native to Eberron. They are shapechangers, a term for a people able to assume features of other humanoids. They are also know as doppelgangers, however this term is considered derogatory and should not be used in the presence of a changeling (though if they are disguised it would be hard to tell). Unfortunately, changelings' talents breed mistrust and fear, leading many of them to hide their true nature from even their closest companions. Many changelings seek only to avoid unwanted attention and to find a place in the world.
Physical Description[]
Changelings can be anywhere from 5' 7" to 6' 0" in height.
Changelings wear many masks, concealing their true identities behind false faces. As shapechangers, changelings can appear to be members of any live humanoid race, with the possible exception of the Night Elves, Draenei, Worgen, Trolls, Tauren, and Blood Elves. Due to the fact that the Forsaken are technically undead, they are unable to take their form, too. Changelings have a lot of difficulty disguising themselves as Azerothian Gnomes, but this is believed to be more of a mental barrier than anything.
